Mind Reader
By Ellen Tevault
She grabbed my hand, and her darkest fantasies revealed themselves
to me.
They flashed like snapshots in my mind.
Snap.
She crawled to a corner and stared at me with tears streaming down
her cheeks.
I heard sobs escape around her gag.
Snap.
Chained against the wall, she quivered.
I watched a whip fly toward her like an attacking snake.
I blinked my eyes against the images, and when I regained my focus
from my journey, I noticed the betrayal in her eyes. Before I could
explain that her touch unlocked her secrets for me, she walked away.
